The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.

About the Role
The Implementation Manager is a pivotal role within School Application Services in the successful adoption of new systems, processes, or products within business and schools.
The role will orchestrate the successful rollout of projects and change items, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with the business and school objectives. The roles expertise lies in managing cross-functional teams, navigating complex project/product landscapes, and driving change while minimizing disruption to the business and schools. With a keen eye for detail and a strong emphasis on communication and stakeholder management, this role is the architect of transformation, translating plans into actionable steps and guiding teams toward operational excellence.
The position sits within the School Application Services Quality & Operations team and has a strong focus on school systems including Student Insight and CASES21 functions and process.
The role is based centrally at 200 Vic Parade in the city; however, flexible working arrangements are available. This is a full-time, fixed-term role until 30 June 2028.
Attributes
Successful applicant will possess a strong understanding of software development life cycles and are adept at managing projects that involve software customization, configuration, and integration with existing systems. The manager will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure that the software change is implemented according to specifications and that any technical issues are resolved promptly.
