Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Human Resources Administration Officer to join our People and Culture team at Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW). This is a key front-line role that supports the daily operations of the HR team and plays a critical part in delivering outstanding administrative and customer service support across the workforce.
In this position, you will be the first point of contact for HR-related enquiries, providing professional and timely assistance to our staff. Your responsibilities will include ensuring employment documentation is accurate and complete for seamless onboarding, supporting monthly induction sessions, and managing key compliance checks such as Working With Children, Police Checks, NDIS Screening, and AHPRA registrations. You will also be responsible for monitoring the HR mailbox, coordinating meetings and events, processing invoices and resignations, and supervising the People and Culture Administration Support Officer.
Success in this role will require a strong understanding of mandatory workforce requirements, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. You will play a hands-on role in maintaining our high standards of service and compliance, supporting policy development, and contributing to broader People and Culture initiatives across the organisation.
