The opportunity
The HR Business Partner supports the senior leaders at SRO to make informed people decisions, through coaching, development and a deep understanding of the business context. The role provides advice and insight to State Revenue Office (SRO) leaders and other HR staff on human resource matters, in partnership with allocated client groups.
HR Business Partners play a critical role in developing and implementing workplace relations solutions, HR policy and procedure, workforce planning, recruitment, selection and induction, reward and recognition, performance management, and change management.
As part of a professional Human Resources team, this role is based at state-of-the-art central locations at either Ballarat GovHub, or at the SRO's office in Exhibition Street, Melbourne. Some travel between sites will be required.
