About the Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary & Liver Transplant Unit
The HPB&T Unit is part of the Division of Surgery, Anaesthesia & Procedural Medicine. It is responsible for the provision of services within the specialty of HPB and General Surgery to patients across Austin Health, (Austin Hospital and Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital) and tertiary level support to regional Victorian and Tasmanian centres. In addition, the unit provides state-wide surgical services for liver transplantation and multi-organ retrieval as well as national multi-visceral transplant service through the Victorian Liver Transplant Unit (VLTU).

An exciting opportunity currently exists for one enthusiastic Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary & Liver Transplant Surgery Fellow to join our Hepatobiliary Transplant Unit from October 2025 for 4 months.
