The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) is a justice service that resolves a wide range of disputes for the Victorian community, including renting, planning, and consumer disputes. VCAT is committed to delivering an accessible service for all Victorians and is transforming our digital products and services to make it faster, easier, and more convenient for people to come to the tribunal.
About the Role
Opportunity to join the team at the VCAT community based venue in the brand new Wyndham Law Courts.
The Hearing and Service Support Officer is amulti0functional role, responsible for delivering front line services to VCAT users, parties in cases and external service providers, providing high quality administrative support through end-to-end processing of applications.
You will work as part of a small, dedicated team, providing customer service to VCAT users and support to VCAT Members in preparation for and during hearings.
The role will be primarily located onsite at the VCAT Wyndham Law Courts Venue but may be required to work from any VCAT location, including regional venues and/or CBD locations, as needed.
This role is an on-site based position.
About You
We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are strong and organised team players with a strength in flexibility. You will have well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be passionate about customer service and contribute your broad experience to help VCAT identify improvements to our processes and proceduers and help shape the future of our Community Based Venues.
The preferred candidate will be required to undertake related induction and first aid officer trai ning as part of their role.
