The Health Wellbeing Support Officer is a key member of the Health Wellbeing & Specialist Services Branch Leadership Team where the strategic priorities of the Area and Branch are discussed. The position leads the Area Attendance Consultation Clinic for schools and is a key member of an attendance working group that is aiming to support schools where priority student cohorts may have high absenteeism.
The position requires strong knowledge of the five key elements for attendance and experience with providing sound advice and strategies for schools to support the improvement of attendance. A key priority for Loddon Campaspe Area will be the implementation in our schools of the Department's Attendance Fidelity Tool alongside the five key elements to improving attendance.
The successful applicant also has the delegated role to undertake the School Attendance Officer process and guidance. For more details regarding this position please see attached position descriptions.
