About the Role
NCN Health is seeking a Health Promotion and Community Development Officer to join our Numurkah Team. The Health Promotion and Community Development Officer are responsible for leading and coordinating the sustainable and efficient delivery of health promotion and community engagement activities aimed to support and improve the health and wellbeing of people across the NCN Health catchment.
The role includes planning, implementation and evaluation of health promotion and community development activities in the local community, working in partnership with other Health Promotion and Community Development workers across NCN Health and other external agencies. The role is also responsible for external communication, writing and compiling applications for small grants and maintenance of the Health Promotion electronic media.
The Health Promotion and Community Development Officer will also support the development and implementation of community development activities including supporting the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee and other initiatives including gender equity, prevention of family violence and inclusion.
