About the role:
We are seeking a motivated Health Information Manager or Clinical Coder with a Diploma (or equivalent) in Clinical Classification to join our clinical coding team. This position is open to both entry-level and experienced professionals looking for a supportive and flexible work environment. We offer hybrid working options to the right applicant, part-time hours with flexibility, and an extensive training program. This role is primarily responsible for coding inpatient episodes of care according to the Australian Coding Standards. It involves coding the entire casemix at Goulburn Valley Health, which includes acute, mental health, subacute, surgical, and maternity care. In addition, you may be required to contribute to internal coding audits and support the training of new staff.
