Range 4 is distinguished by broader management responsibility, particularly in the areas of finance, human resource and other support functions. Range 4 is responsible for managing a range of functions under a wide range of conditions, subject to the size and complexity of school operations.
Objectives will, generally, be clearly defined; guidelines will be broad and day-to-day direction minimal. Management responsibility extends to ensuring appropriate support levels are maintained across the school. Range 4 generally provides key support and timely advice to the leadership team and school council and liaises with the general school community, the Department and other government agencies and service providers.
Specialised professional roles will carry a high level of independence and accountability where suitable scope is provided to achieve objectives.
An education support class position supports the educational services being provided to students but must not include duties of teaching as defined in clause 2.6.1 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) or its successor. Supervision of students cannot be required except where it is an integral part of the employee¿s position or involves supervision of students individually or in small groups, in controlled circumstances, where the responsibility for students remains clearly with a teacher.
The Keysborough Secondary College Health Care Centre Nurse Manager plays a vital role in the health and wellbeing of students at each campus of the College. The College Health Care Centre Nurse Manager supports the development, education, health and wellbeing of all Keysborough Secondary College students and their families. The Health Care Centre Nurse Manager promotes the optimal health, wellbeing and development of students, and includes a focus on health monitoring, health promotion, education and counselling, and the provision of primary health care to students. The Health Care Centre Nurse Manager also makes early identification, and intervention for students and families at risk.
The Health Care Centre Nurse Manager leads, manages and supports the nursing and first aid teams across the College, and works collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders including members of the school's education and wellbeing teams and other health practitioners. The Health Care Centre Nurse Manager is an integral part of the school community. In promoting optimal student health wellbeing and development, the Health Care Centre Nurse Manager plays a pivotal role in enabling students to meet their full educational potential. The Health Care Centre Nurse Manager will promote child and adolescent health and wellbeing, assisting in early identification of students with potential health-related learning difficulties.

A current qualification in the area of Health Services and Level 2 first aid is required. A comprehensive knowledge of Anaphylaxis, Allergies, Asthma and Diabetes is essential. Successful applicants will be up to date with the Department of Education Child Safe Standards.
The position of Health Care Centre Nurse Manager is fulltime, across both College campuses. The time fraction could be negotiated for the right applicant. Remuneration is in line with the Department of Education VGSA 2022 for Education Support Class, level 1 - range 4 commencing at $93,265 per year.

Keysborough Secondary College is a multi-campus school with one campus in Keysborough (Acacia Campus) and one in Springvale South (Banksia Campus). Both campuses offer programs for students in years 7-12 with an organisational structure arranged around Junior and Senior sub-schools.
Enrolments in the College stand at around 2300 and are growing. The College provides a broad range of VCE, VCE-VM and VET subjects for our students across the two campuses. The College also has a significant International Students Program with its own ELC.
Student achievement and engagement is generally above Like School groups and retention is high. Our student population is culturally and linguistically diverse and characterised by families of high SFOE as a result of which the college attracts significant Equity Funding. General Satisfaction with the College, as measured by the Parent Opinion Survey, is consistently high and in 2024 was 86%.

Keysborough Secondary College has undergone an extensive renewal program with the construction of two Junior Village neighbourhoods, a Senior Village neighbourhood, and a purpose-built STEM Centre on each Campus. Construction or refurbishment of a Food Technology, The Arts and Technology Centre on each campus has also been completed. The final stage has been completed for the new Administration Centre on the Banksia Campus and the refurbishment of the Music area at the Acacia Campus.
