We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Risk and Assurance Manager to provide strategic leadership across health and safety governance, high consequence risk management, assurance, performance reporting, and continuous improvement. This is a senior role with real influence; shaping how health and safety critical risk and the VICSES safety management system is understood, managed, and reported across a large, operationally diverse organisation.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Manager Health and Safety, you will be responsible for driving a mature, compliant and future‑focused health and safety management system. You will lead the organisation's approach to health and safety high consequence risk, assurance and performance, ensuring decision‑makers have clear, credible insights to support informed and risk‑aware decisions.
You will work closely with senior leaders, managers and specialist teams across VICSES, including partnering with the Health and Safety Operational Advisory function to ensure governance and operational safety practices are well integrated.
