About the Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to drive brand positioning and deliver engaging and effective communications strategy in a treasured cultural institution. The role is responsible for the development and delivery of State Library Victoria's marketing and communications plan, ensuring that internal and external communications position the Library appropriately and as a ‘must do' destination. In addition to strengthening culture and connection through storytelling and celebration, the role harnesses data to inform decision-making and refines existing approaches to maximise impact.
The Head of Marketing and Communications leads the Brand and Audience Development branch, allocating resources, monitoring performance and managing risk. This leadership role requires an organisation-wide approach aligned with strategy, contributing to a positive culture through collaborative problem-solving, and advocating internally and externally for State Library Victoria.
