Lara Primary school is situated in the north-east corner of the town of Lara. It is approximately 10 km from Geelong and 60 km west of Melbourne CBD. Our school¿s enrolment sits at 450 students across 20 classrooms. In addition to the Principal, Assistant Principals and a vibrant leadership/wellbeing team, there are 29.4 EFT teachers and 20.18 ESOs.

Lara Primary School is seeking a reliable, proactive and hands-on gardener/grounds/maintenance person to maintain the presentation and functionality of our school's facilities. The ideal candidate will be someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors, and can work both independently and collaboratively.
The successful candidate will carry out a wide range or gardening, groundskeeping and general maintenance duties, ensuring our school environment remains clean, safe, and inviting for students, staff, and the wider school community.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and general maintenance of all outdoor areas at Lara Primary School. This hands-on role involves ensuring that the school grounds are safe, clean well-presented, and conductive to a welcoming learning environment.
In addition to maintaining gardens and lawns, the role includes performing minor repairs and general outdoor maintenance tasks as needed.
