About the role
We are seeking a self-motivated administrative professional to join our Grants and Quality Assurance program, responsible for administering the legal aid fund through grants of legal assistance. In this role, you will be the first point of contact and provide high quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders, which include practice partners, Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) lawyers, community legal centres and the Courts, as well as members of the community and legally aided clients.
You will triage, process and respond to a high volume of enquiries in relation to grants of legal assistance, VLA guidelines, fees and policies, panel membership for our practice partners, training and education, and other matters. This role will suit candidates who enjoy the day-to-day challenges of working within a fast-paced environment.
These roles are based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.
