The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Senior Grants Delivery Officer to provide a critical role within Emergency Management Victoria.
About the Business Unit
Emergency Management Victoria (EMV), within the Department of Justice and Community Safety, is responsible for the overall coordination of the emergency management system in Victoria. EMV drives the integration of policy, strategy, operational coordination, sector specific technology, and planning across Victoria's emergency management sector, contributing to safer, more resilient communities.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Grants Delivery Officer, the Grants Delivery Officer is a key community facing role within a dynamic working environment. The role will support the successful delivery of the Community Recovery Officer and Community Recovery Hubs (CRO and Hub) and Community Recovery (CR) grant programs in response to the complexity of community recovery needs following the bushfires commencing 7 January 2026.
The role builds genuine partnerships with grant recipients and collaborates with stakeholders across EMV, Local Government Authorities (LGAs), and Community Organisations to ensure grant program management and administration are delivered effectively.
