2026 Mid-Year Graduate Nurse Program - Registered Nurse
Applications are now open for the 2026 Mid-Year Registered Nurse Graduate Program in Residential Aged Care.
This 12-month program is offered on a part-time basis at 0.8 EFT and provides the opportunity to work within one of Central Highlands Rural Health's aged care facilities:
Throughout the program, graduates will be supported by experienced Nurse Educators and clinicians across each clinical area. The program begins with a comprehensive orientation week prior to placement in the assigned clinical setting.
Over the course of the year, participants will attend four dedicated study days, which include practical clinical skills training, presentations, and simulation-based learning. Ongoing support is also provided by ward preceptors, along with additional guidance from the Learning and Development team.
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates may have the opportunity to secure ongoing employment within one of Central Highlands Rural Health's campuses.
Details of Appointment: Part time, fixed term position (15 July 2026 - 15 July 2027), working 64 hours per fortnight
Salary: YP2: $42.61 per hour + superannuation
