- At the completion of the Graduate Program you will have the option of choosing either to participate in our Transition Program or apply for ongoing employment in an area of your choice according to available EFT.
Our Program:
BRHS offers a single program providing the opportunity to consolidate practice in various areas in the clinical settings, including a potential primary health care rotation to our East Gippsland partner Gippsland Lakes Complete Health (GLCH) in Lakes Entrance.
- 12 month program commencing January 2026
- Permanent appointment (subject to performance)
- Ongoing, 0.6 - 1.0 EFT by negotiation
- 2 x 6 month rotational positions throughout the hospital
- Rotations are available in; Medical/Surgical TAMBO ward, Medical/Palliative/Paediatrics Rotamah ward, and Rehabilitation/ AOD Flanagan ward. Specialty rotations are available in; Emergency, Perioperative areas and Midwifery (dual degree graduates only), with the opportunity to indicate your preference. Off-site primary health care rotation also available

- Certified copies of your last 2 clinical appraisals (1 must be from 3rd year)
- Name and contact details of 2 clinical references that must be a clinical supervisor from a student placement such as Nurse unit manager, Clinical nurse consultant, clinical nurse educator or clinical facilitator
