2027 Graduate Nurse Program - Registered Nurse
Applications for the 2027 RN Graduate Program open on Monday, June 1 2026, and close on Wednesday, July 1 2026.
The program is offered part-time at 0.8 EFT over 12 months.
There will be six positions available in 2027, commencing on 1 March 2027, concluding on 27 February 2028.
The program includes two six-month rotations—one in an acute care setting and one in aged care. Candidates will be supported by Nurse Educators and experienced clinicians in each clinical area.
During the first week, a comprehensive orientation program is provided before commencement in the allocated clinical area. Throughout the graduate year, four study days will be held, featuring practical clinical skills sessions, presentations, and simulation scenarios.
Ongoing support from ward preceptors will be available, in addition to graduate support from the Learning and Development team.
Upon successful completion of the Registered Nurse Graduate Program, there may be opportunities for ongoing employment at one of the campuses across Central Highlands Rural Health.
