Services are delivered across multiple locations, including the Parkville and Royal Park campuses, Brunswick and East Keilor, as well as in the community and in patients’ homes.

This exciting opportunity includes six-month rotations at both GVH and RMH, allowing you to experience both regional and metropolitan healthcare settings. The program will give you the opportunity to understand and appreciate the rewards and challenges of working in both environments. Both RMH and GVH pride themselves on the strong support provided to graduates, with large teams of Clinical Area Educators, Clinical Support Nurses, and Preceptors available seven days a week.

About your team:
We are exceptionally proud to have a team of 90 clinical nurse educators and clinical support nurses who are located on the ward. They are close by to offer you expert supervision, support and education and a safe space when you need a moment to debrief.
Each clinical area has a dedicated preceptorship model, tailormade for that speciality. We aim for preceptors to work alongside you for your supernumerary period, then for the initial period of your rotation, ranging from 4 to 6 weeks and first set of night shifts.
