The SRO is the Victorian Government's revenue management agency, administering a range of taxes, duties, levies, grants and subsidies.
The opportunity
The SRO is partnering with the VPS Graduate program, so you'll experience the same benefits, learning and development and networking as your fellow graduates. However, in Ballarat, you'll get a unique and bespoke experience designed specifically for graduates who want to start or continue their careers in Ballarat. The SRO is one of Ballarat's most well-known employers and our staff work from the state-of-the-art GovHub building Ballarat CBD.
Graduates start in February 2027 and will:

Land tax is the SRO's biggest revenue line and you'll play a vital role in helping the Victorian government collect this very important tax.
Your final rotation will be in the Investigations branch, which undertakes activities designed to maximise compliance with Victoria's revenue laws and ensure revenue is collected when it is due.
As a Graduate Investigator, you will:
By rotating through different areas at the SRO, this will set you up best for your ongoing Grade 3 Investigator opportunity.
