About the Role:
As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of the State Building Surveyor functions, focussing on Council support and advice, guidance, training and education to registered building practitioners.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their technical skills, gain exposure to building regulation and compliance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of building standards through the provision of advice, guidance, training education material. The Graduate Building Surveyor may also assist in assessing occupancy permits for prescribed temporary structures and places of public entertainment.
This graduate position forms part of a two-year program aimed at providing the first step to Graduate Building Surveyors and equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to establish a career in the building industry and achieve registration as a Building Surveyor.
