We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Project Lead to drive the delivery of the Gippsland Paediatric Partnership Program—an innovative initiative bringing together the Royal Children’s Hospital, Monash Health, PIPER, regional health services, and general practitioners. This program is focused on strengthening regional paediatric capability and ensuring children and families can access safe, high-quality care closer to home.
In this pivotal role, you will work closely with clinical leaders and a broad network of stakeholders to design and implement a sustainable, partnership-based model of care. Through enhancing clinical governance, enabling virtual care solutions, and establishing consistent pathways, you will play a key role in improving outcomes for acutely unwell children across the region while reducing the need for unnecessary transfers.
If you are passionate about delivering meaningful system-wide change, thrive in a dynamic environment, and bring strong project leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, we encourage you to be part of this impactful initiative.
Our preferred candidate will have:
Demonstrated experience delivering complex project outcomes within a hospital or healthcare setting, with an understanding of clinical and non-clinical operating environments.
Strong experience engaging with diverse cross-organisational stakeholder groups at all levels, including senior leaders, clinical and non‑clinical staff and consumers, to support information project delivery and evaluation.
Demonstrated capability using M365 tools (including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and related collaboration tools) to support project delivery, documentation, and communication.
Demonstrated understanding of confidentiality, privacy, and information handling requirements, particularly within a healthcare or public sector environment.
The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:
Formal qualification or certification in project management or demonstrated practical experience delivering initiatives using structured project management approaches.
Formal qualifications and/or experience working in paediatric healthcare services.
Experience supporting change management, communications, or training coordination, preferably within healthcare or similarly complex service environments.
IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
