About the role
We are seeking an experienced and certified Genetic Counsellor to join the Grade 4 team within the combined Parkville Familial Cancer Centre and Adult Genetics service. In this role, you will provide expert genetic counselling to individuals and families attending Familial Cancer and Adult Genetics clinics across The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and regional outreach services, supporting equitable access to specialised genetic healthcare.
As a Certified Genetic Counsellor, you will play a key role by providing clinical oversight and support to the genetic counselling team while contributing to organisational development and day-to-day operations. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, you'll help deliver high-quality, patient-centred care and drive continuous improvement across a respected statewide genetics service.
