From the mallee woodlands and sand dune systems of Murray‑Sunset and Hattah‑Kulkyne National Parks to the river landscapes along the Murray in and around Mildura, this position offers the ideal opportunity for the right candidate to contribute to the Conservation Regulator’s key regulatory priorities and help protect some of Victoria’s most unique natural assets.
The preferred candidate will bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to build their skills and experience as part of a high‑performing operational team committed to achieving positive environmental compliance outcomes across the Loddon Mallee.
Based in Mildura, this role plays an important part in assisting with complex investigations into breaches of environmental legislation, patrolling recreation sites on public land, educating the community, and supporting appropriate, graduated enforcement responses to unlawful activities that cause significant environmental harm.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
This is a fixed term position available until 31 January 2029. The work location for this position is Mildura with hybrid work arrangements available.
