As a Forest and Wildlife Officer, you’ll be on the frontline of protecting Victoria’s forests, wildlife and public land. This is a hands‑on role for people who want their work to matter - based in the Barwon South West region amongst some of Australia's most iconic marine and terrestrial landscapes, combining flexible office days with fieldwork, community engagement and compliance to safeguard our natural environment for future generations.
You’ll be part of an intelligence‑led operations team that educate, engage and, where needed, enforce the law across wildlife protection, forest produce and land and fire management. No two days are the same - one day you might be working with land managers and communities to prevent harm, the next supporting investigations that protect our most vulnerable species and landscapes.
If you’re motivated by purpose, thrive outdoors, and desire an opportunity to begin, maintain or build a meaningful career in conservation and regulation, this role puts you where you can make a real difference - backed by a supportive team, strong safety culture and opportunities to grow.
