About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking applications from clinically trained and endorsed Registered Psychiatric Nurse, Psychologist or qualified Occupational Therapist and/or Social Workers for our Forensic Clinical Specialist (FCS) role.
The Forensic Clinical Specialist Program (FCSP) works to improve the expertise and capacity of the clinical mental health workforce to optimally assess and treat consumers with dual vulnerabilities of serious mental illness and risk of offending.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong background in mental health, demonstrating both knowledge and practical experience. Be dedicated to enhancing mental health care for individuals facing dual challenges of serious mental illness and potential offending behaviours. Expertise including extensive work in risk assessment, risk management, and supporting consumers with complex needs related to serious mental illness.
