About the Unit:
Laboratory Operations Biometric Services (LOBS): The primary functions of LOBS are the recovery and identification of fingerprint and biological evidence from casework and the maintenance and administration of known fingerprint and DNA samples in accordance with Section 464 of the Victorian Crimes Act 1958. Evidence from crime scenes and samples from unknown persons are examined to recover and identify fingerprint and biological evidence and link persons of interest to casework.
About the Role
Develop IT enabled workflow improvements to achieve casework processing efficiencies across the Fingerprint Sciences Group (FSG) and Biological Sciences Group (BSG).
