Food Services Assistant
Permanent Part Time, 32 hours per fortnight (two positions available) with opportunities for Casual
Food and Domestic Assistant Grade 1 or Grade 2 ($26.96 - $28.16 p/h, dependant on experience, excluding allowances)
(Junior rates apply to employees aged under 19 years)
An excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and highly motivated applicant to join our busy Food Services team in a permanent part time role.
The successful applicants will be required to work a range of shifts and be available for additional shifts. Shift times range between 6.30am-15.45pm. Includes one weekend per month.
Our preferred candidate will have
• Current Safe Food Handlers Certificate - HLTTFE001 or equivalent
• Previous food preparation experience within a commercial environment
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Previous customer service experience will be highly regarded.
The following experience would be considered advantageous:
• Previous healthcare experience
• Previous experience working in large work group

IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
