ROLE SUMMARY:
The role leads the fit-out and refurbishment team and coordinates activities required to prepare both new and existing fleet assets for operational deployment. This includes planning refurbishment programs, scheduling workshop activities, coordinating fit-out works and monitoring progress to ensure fleet preparation activities are completed safely, efficiently and within agreed timeframes.
The role works closely with the Senior Fleet Program Lead to ensure fleet preparation activities align with broader fleet delivery schedules and program priorities. The position is responsible for coordinating refurbishment project planning, including undertaking initial asset assessments, determining scope of works, preparing project plans and estimating timeframes and costs associated with refurbishment activities.
The role also supports quality assurance activities prior to commissioning including on-site supplier milestone QA's, ensuring equipment fit-outs, and operational readiness checks are completed before fleet assets are commissioned.

As the largest road rescue network in Australia we have specialist teams that provide a 24/7 response to road accident and trauma incidents. We assist Victoria Police in search and rescue operations, and play an important role in supporting the Country Fire Authority (CFA), Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV), Parks Victoria and the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) during major bushfire and emergency incidents.
