ROLE SUMMARY:
Working under the direction of the Fleet Fit-out & Refurbishment Lead, the role assists in coordinating fit-out and refurbishment activities for both new and existing fleet assets. This includes undertaking vehicle inspections, supporting refurbishment works, preparing vehicles for commissioning and verifying operational equipment fit-outs.
The role supports quality assurance processes associated with fleet pre-commissioning preparation and refurbishment activities, including attending supplier premises to undertake milestone quality assurance inspections. This includes assisting with vehicle inspections, equipment verification and pre-delivery readiness checks to ensure fleet assets meet operational, safety and configuration requirements prior to commissioning and delivery.
This role is primarily based at the State Fleet Centre but will involve travel across Victoria and interstate to support fleet preparation activities and QA inspections including overnight stays.

As the largest road rescue network in Australia we have specialist teams that provide a 24/7 response to road accident and trauma incidents. We assist Victoria Police in search and rescue operations, and play an important role in supporting the Country Fire Authority (CFA), Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV), Parks Victoria and the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) during major bushfire and emergency incidents.
