We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused First Call Officer to join our Community Health team. As the first point of contact for clients, carers, families, healthcare professionals and community partners, you will play a vital role in connecting people with the right services at the right time.

The hours may be offered to one applicant or split across multiple applicants.
About the Role
As a First Call Officer, you will manage referrals and intake processes for a range of allied health and community health services. You will gather information to identify client needs, register clients within our systems, and ensure referrals are allocated to the most appropriate service or program.
Working closely with clinical and administrative teams, you will contribute to timely access to care and support effective service coordination across the organisation.
Our preferred candidate will have:
Excellent communication and engagement skills.
Well-developed computer knowledge and skills.
Experience in a healthcare environment.
Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team.
The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:
Experience in intake and undertaking initial needs identification.
IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
