THE ROLE
The key focus of this position is to assist with the analysis and reporting of the Department's financial reporting to DTF and contributing to the analysis of DFFH agencies monthly and annual financial data. Working as part of the financial accounting and reporting unit, the VPS 4 Financial Accountant plays an important role in the preparation of the team's deliverables. This position requires excellent conceptual and analytical ability, self-management and stakeholder management skills, as they will work on completing a range of tasks independently and as part of a team. This VPS 4 Financial Accountant will be working closely together with senior team members, and assist, contribute and complete various tasks to achieve the outcomes for which the team is responsible. This position will also support the Senior Financial Accountant positions and backfill them when they are on leave or temporary assignment.
