About the Role
We're looking for a Finance Officer (Brigades) commencing immediately through to 16 October 2026, on a full-time or part time (0.6) basis. This is an excellent opportunity to support CFA's Brigade Finance function by building strong partnerships with District and Regional staff.
The role, located at either District 14 in Melton or District 7 in North Geelong, supports the Brigade Finance function by providing guidance and mentoring to volunteers on financial management, ensuring compliance with legislation and CFA policies. In this role, you will gain a strong understanding of assigned brigades' and groups' financial activities, conduct assurance checks, report findings, and help CFA meet its compliance and reporting obligations.

This position may involve travel and after-hours work at times. The successful candidate will have access to a CFA pool car for this purpose. A driver's licence is required.
