If yes, come join the Macalister District team as a Field Operations Supervisor!
This leadership role is based in the Heyfield WorkCentre, where you’ll lead a diverse team and have the opportunity to work across the Macalister District and Gippsland Region with operational and planning staff. Use your people management skills, problem solving ability and expertise in land management to coordinate Workcentre staff to deliver of a range of operational tasks in the field in a safe and effective manner, including fuel management and roading, along with fire prevention activities. The Bushfire and Forest Services Group plays a critical role in maintaining and improving Victoria's natural landscape, including but not limited to bushfire prevention and emergency response, making a real difference on the ground for the communities we serve.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
This is a fixed term position until 9 April 2027. The work location for this position is Heyfield with hybrid work arrangements available.
