Join us as a Farm Hand at Agriculture Victoria's dynamic research farm in Rutherglen! This farm, managed by the Agriculture Victoria Research (AVR), is dedicated to best practice and advancing the agriculture in the region.
At AVR-Rutherglen, you'll experience a diverse environment featuring broadacre cropping, lamb production, and hay production. As a Farm Hand, your role will revolve around the management of ewes, cereal and legume crops, and essential farm equipment, all while coordinating with contractors to ensure everything operates well.
You'll also get the chance to learn about cutting-edge research projects including biosecurity operations within our biosecurity site in Rutherglen. Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 Months. The work location for this position is 124 Chiltern Valley Road, Rutherglen.
