About the Role
Make a meaningful contribution to preventing family violence deaths in Victoria.
Join the Coroners Prevention Unit (CPU), a unique multidisciplinary team that supports coroners to identify opportunities to improve public health and safety through evidence-based recommendations. As part of the Victorian Systemic Review into Family Violence Deaths (VSRFVD), you will play a critical role in reviewing family violence-related deaths, identifying systemic issues, and helping shape recommendations that drive lasting change across Victoria's service system.
As a Family Violence Case Investigator, you will undertake complex analysis of coronial information, research and evidence to support coroners in their investigations. Working within the CPU Family Violence Team, you will identify contributing factors, emerging themes and opportunities for prevention, helping inform recommendations that strengthen Victoria's response to family violence and reduce the risk of future deaths.

You are comfortable working with complex and sensitive material and can translate detailed evide nce into clear, actionable advice.
