Fair Jobs Code Senior Policy Officer
The Role
As the successful candidate you will have demonstrated experience in policy development, strong analytical capabilities, and be able to apply policy intent to systems and processes that enable effective delivery of objectives.
Using systems and data, you can translate complex issues into clear, evidence-based advice through formal and informal briefing approaches and communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders to agree and achieve outcomes.
You will help review, refine and shape policy, support implementation of the Fair Jobs Code including through assessment of applications, and respond to evolving priorities for the Fair Jobs Code and the IDCMT Branch.

The position of Fair Jobs Code Senior Policy Officer forms a part of the Industry Development, Construction, Manufacturing and Talent branchwithin the Industry, Trade & Investment group.
The Industry Development, Construction, Manufacturing and Talent (IDCMT) Branch is responsible for shaping and ensuring the delivery of the Victorian Government's industry development agenda. The branch develops policies and delivers programs that drive sustainable economic growth and workforce inclusion, leading to higher living standards for all Victorians.
