About Us
Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.
Our people enable the Courts Group to deliver on each jurisdiction's own strategic priorities while also pursuing strategic opportunities that are interconnected and deliver benefits more broadly.
The Bendigo Law Courts Development Project is a significant infrastructure project that was funded in the 2019/2020 Victorian State Government Budget to deliver a fully operational contemporary Bendigo Law Court precinct in 2023.
The Project provides an opportunity for the significant transformation of the greater Bendigo community and the Victorian justice system.
The Asset Management branch is comprised of Facilities Management (FM) and Contracts. The FM team delivers scheduled, preventative and reactive repairs and a range of ancillary hard and soft facility services to ensure continuity of building operations. The FM team also manages services to achieve compliance under Essential Safety Measures. The FM team provides internal technical advice and delivery of projects relating to facility fabric, structure and supporting facility infrastructure. Built Environment works with jurisdictions to construct, maintain, and repair Victoria's Courts and facilities.
About the Role
The Facilities Manager, Bendigo Law Courts (BLC) as a member of the FM team based in Bendigo will oversee a range of operational services and processes that support the ongoing physical and strategic operations of the new BLC.
