As part of a Department of Health initiative to return public pathology to public hospitals and ensure consistent, accessible services for all Victorians, Austin Health Pathology (AHP) will begin providing pathology services to Bendigo Health in December 2025.
We are now seeking expressions of interest for several roles (see below) in the Bendigo region to support this partnership with Bendigo Health— a leading regional service with over 5,000 staff and volunteers, serving a catchment covering a quarter of Victoria. This growing health service offers the benefits of city infrastructure within a regional lifestyle.
It’s an incredible opportunity to contribute to a key health initiative and support high-quality pathology services for the Bendigo community.
The Laboratory Manager role is being recruited for immediate commencement. All other roles will be offered progressively over the next 2 to 4 weeks, with start dates aligned to the pathology service transition on 7 December 2025.
