ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Experience and Interpretation Manager ensures that exhibitions are enlightening and thrilling experiences for audiences by applying contemporary interpretation and experience development techniques through collaborative creative practice.
The role is accountable for developing enriching and compelling multi-sensory, story-led experiences across long-term, inbound temporary and outbound exhibitions. Working across platforms and sites, the position influences teams and stakeholders to ensure experiences effectively engage and communicate with defined audiences.
This is achieved through the incumbent's own creative practice, mentoring and supporting the Experience Development team, collaborating within interdisciplinary project teams, and fostering a culture that enables best practice in experience development.

This is a Full time, ongoing position. The salary on offer is a VPS5.1 Base salary of $113,022 per annum (pro rata) plus 12% superannuation.
The successful applicant is required to undergo a National Police Records Check and Working with Children Check and be assessed as suitable (new employees are required to meet this cost).
