About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for an Exercise Physiologist (Grade 2) to join the multidisciplinary team at Barwon Health's new Youth Prevention & Recovery Care (YPARC) service. Working within a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed residential setting, you will support young people aged 16–25 to improve their physical and mental wellbeing through evidence-based exercise physiology interventions.
As a key member of the therapeutic team, you will deliver individual, group and family-inclusive interventions that promote physical activity, healthy routines and functional recovery. Working collaboratively with nursing, allied health, psychosocial rehabilitation workers and peer workers, you will contribute to holistic assessment, recovery planning and successful transitions back into the community while supporting service innovation and continuous improvement.
