KSC 1 ¿ Exercise Physiology
Demonstrated experience as an Exercise Physiologist, in delivering comprehensive, evidence-based services to children or young people with complex physical and developmental needs, including assessment, program planning, intervention and evaluation within a special or inclusive education setting.
Demonstrated ability to support student participation, mobility, physical function, health and wellbeing through movement-based, exercise and functional support programs.
KSC 2 ¿ Knowledge and Experience with Disability and High Support Needs
Demonstrated experience, knowledge or strong interest in working with students with disabilities, including intellectual disability and high physical support needs, and supporting movement, physical participation and functional support program development that enhances access, mobility and participation at school.
KSC 3 ¿ Collaborative Practice and Capacity Building
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, building positive and collaborative relationships with teachers, education support staff, families and external providers. Demonstrated ability to provide training and coaching to staff, including safe movement support, manual handling practices and facilitation of student movement, exercise and physical participation programs.
KSC 4 ¿ Organisation, Documentation and Service Delivery
Demonstrated ability to manage workload, meet established school timelines and priorities, and maintain accurate documentation, including student support programs, student profiles, progress notes, reports for funding applications, and recommendations regarding physical activity, mobility supports or equipment in collaboration with relevant allied health professionals where required.

Range 4 is distinguished by broader management responsibility, particularly in the areas of finance, human resource and other support functions. Range 4 is responsible for managing a range of functions under a wide range of conditions, subject to the size and complexity of school operations.
Objectives will, generally, be clearly defined; guidelines will be broad and day-to-day direction minimal. Management responsibility extends to ensuring appropriate support levels are maintained across the school. Range 4 generally provides key support and timely advice to the leadership team and school council and liaises with the general school community, the Department and other government agencies and service providers.
Specialised professional roles will carry a high level of independence and accountability where suitable scope is provided to achieve objectives.
An education support class position supports the educational services being provided to students, but must not include duties of teaching as defined in clause 2.6.1 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) or its successor. Supervision of students cannot be required except where it is an integral part of the employee¿s position or involves supervision of students individually or in small groups, in controlled circumstances, where the responsibility for students remains clearly with a teacher.
¿ Manage the delivery of movement, exercise and physical wellbeing support services to students, teachers, parents and other school clients.
¿ Develop and implement evidence-based exercise and movement programs that support student participation, mobility, physical wellbeing and access to the curriculum.
¿ Collaborate with teachers, education support staff, families and external allied health providers to support student engagement and participation at school.
¿ Provide guidance and training to school staff in relation to movement support strategies, physical participation, safe movement practices and implementation of student support programs.
¿ Participate in multidisciplinary student support planning and contribute to individual education and wellbeing planning processes.
¿ Support student participation in school-based aquatic programs where appropriate.
¿ Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes and reports in accordance with school and Department requirements.
¿ Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment consistent with Child Safe Standards and Department values.
