About the Branch/Group
This exciting role is part of the Strategic Communications and Executive Services group and supports one or more of DTF’s ministerial offices.
The ESBL role reports to the Executive Services component of the group which provides Ministerial liaison and administrative support to the Ministerial Offices of the Treasurer, Minister for Finance and the Minister for WorkSafe and the TAC, as well as providing Cabinet, Cabinet Committee, Parliamentary and Legislative Services and administrative support to the Budget and Finance Committee (BFC) and any associated sub-committees.
About the Role
The ESBL role is critical to the management of the Budget and Finance Committee (BFC) and any BFC sub-committees, and the associated administrative and coordination tasks instrumental to the Victorian Government’s budget process. The role is a key liaison between the BFC Secretariat, DTF officials and contacts across the whole-of-Victorian-Government. The ESBL ensures efficient flow of communication and materials essential to the delivery of the Government’s priorities.
The role may also be required to engage directly with DTF’s Ministerial Offices and the Premier’s Office, as well as senior DTF executives.
