This is an opportunity to lead one of Victoria's most significant Koori justice portfolios, influence system-wide reform, and help ensure the justice system is culturally safe, responsive and effective for Aboriginal people and communities.
Reporting to the CEO of the Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV), the Executive Director, Koori Justice will lead the strategic direction, growth and delivery of Koori justice initiatives, ensuring Aboriginal voices, culture and self-determination are embedded throughout the Court. Leading a dedicated team and working closely with judicial leaders, Aboriginal communities and key stakeholders, you will champion cultural safety, oversee major reform initiatives, and drive better justice outcomes for Koori people across the state.
