The functions of the Division include the leadership of the Victorian Curriculum F-10 Version 2.0, VCE study designs and VET delivered to school students, with a focus on ensuring strategic alignment between curriculum and student outcomes. The Division coordinates permissions and school-based assessment audits relating to the VCE, the VCE Vocational Major and the Victorian Pathways Certificate.
Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Director (ED) leads a range of functions and plays a critical role in building and fostering relationships with stakeholders including schools in all sectors and subject associations.
The ED is a member of the VCAA¿s executive leadership team and will be a valued partner to peers and colleagues, looking beyond their direct functional remit, to ensure joined up operations across the VCAA.
The Division is in various stages of a number of reforms including the continued embedding of vocational and applied learning pathways in the senior secondary years and implementation of the F-10 Curriculum 2.0. With 3 direct reports and a team of around 65 staff, the Executive Director, Curriculum will:
