The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) invites applications for the position of Executive Director, Corporate and Innovation. This is a fixed-term contract role for a period of up to five years.
Role Overview:
The Executive Director, Corporate and Innovation is responsible for the leadership of a comprehensive suite of corporate support services delivered to and for the Magistrates' Court of Victoria. The Executive Director, Corporate and Innovation reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is a member of the Senior Executive Committee and Executive Leadership Group. The role involves collaboration with the CEO to strategically position the MCV and to plan and direct the corporate support functions of the Court.
The Executive Director, Corporate and Innovation will expertly lead the delivery of corporate support functions to the Court in the disciplines of Project Delivery, Digital and Technology, Innovation and Service Experience, Finance, Procurement and Commercial Business Support, and Strategic Communications.
About you:
To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated experience in a senior leadership position within an organisation of similar scale and scope. You will be someone who thrives in complexity, inspires teams through change, and possesses demonstrated awareness of the operations of the Victorian judicial system, as well as knowledge of the legislative instruments and policies relating to courts, tribunals, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), and public sector management. You will also have a strong commitment to people development, innovation, and public value, along with highly advanced stakeholder management and infl uencing skills.
Essential requirements:
A relevant tertiary and post graduate qualification in a related field is highly desirable.
