Executive Director, Corporate - Magistrates' Court of Victoria (Fixed-Term 5-year Executive Contract)
The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) invites applications for the position of Executive Director, Corporate. This is a fixed-term contract role for a period of up to five years.
Role Overview
The Executive Director, Corporate is responsible for the leadership of a comprehensive suite of corporate support services delivered to, and for the Magistrates' Court of Victoria. The Executive Director, Corporate reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is a member of the Senior Executive Group. The role works in collaboration with the CEO to strategically position MCV, plan and direct the corporate support functions of the Court.
The Executive Director, Corporate will expertly lead the delivery of corporate support functions to the Court in the disciplines of People, Health and Safety, Digital and Technology, Finance, Risk, Procurement and Commercial Business Support, Strategic Communications and support for General Counsel type functions.
About you:
To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated experience in a senior leadership position within an organisation of similar scale and scope. You will be someone who thrives in complexity, inspires teams through change, and possesses demonstrated awareness of the operations of the Victorian judicial system, as well as knowledge of the legislative instruments and policies relating to courts, tribunals and public sector management. You will also have a strong commitment to people development, innovation, and public value, along with highly advanced stakeholder management and influencing skills.
A relevant tertiary and post graduate qualification in a related field (e.g. accounting or law) is highly desirable.
