About the Department of Education
The department is responsible for early childhood and school education in Victoria through the provision of a wide range of learning and development supports and services.
About the Communications Division 
The Communications Division of leads, shapes and supports communication of Victorian Government priorities for early childhood education and schools education.
The Communications Division is responsible for marketing, campaigns and communication strategy, media relations, speechwriting, internal communications, branding, digital and creative services, and major event management.
About the Executive Director, Communications Division 
The Executive Director, Communications Division is responsible for leading and managing the department's external and internal communications strategy and priorities.
As a member of the executive leadership team of People and Executive Services, the role builds respectful and collaborative workplace cultures. The role reports directly to the Deputy Secretary, People and Executive Services, and is a member of committees and project control boards.
