The Position
The Victoria Law Foundation (VLF) is seeking to appoint its next Executive Director with the announcement that the incumbent Ms Lynne Haultain will depart following a long and impactful tenure.
The Executive Director is responsible for leading the organisation's strategic mandate of delivering research, education and grants that contribute to the development of an effective civil justice system for the Victorian community.
Working with the Board, success in the role requires providing intelligent leadership and creative direction, developing collaborative partnerships and networks and the ability to inspire high functioning and expert staff.
Strong financial and risk management, business planning, reporting and monitoring are also key accountabilities to ensure organisational sustainability and good governance.
You will be an accomplished strategic leader with a background in areas such as research, law, strategic communications or education and display superior communication, networking and partnership capabilities. The successful appointee will have a reputation as a thought leader with a sound knowledge of justice and social issues and come with the highest levels of ethics and integrity.
A tertiary qualification is expected with legal qualifications as desirable.
