Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.
We are seeking a highly capable and professional Executive Assistant to provide proactive, confidential, and high-level administrative support to our Chief Executive Officer. This pivotal role ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the Office of the CEO while supporting the organisation’s strategic and governance responsibilities.
As the trusted partner to the CEO, you will take proactive oversight of daily operations, acting as the principal point of contact for external stakeholders including Ministerial and Parliamentary offices, senior government officials, member and partner organisations, and members of the public. You will research and prepare high-quality correspondence, reports, and briefings on behalf of the CEO, and coordinate the preparation of minutes, executive papers, and directorate reports to support effective decision-making.
You will facilitate strong business systems and administrative processes, maintain oversight of key deadlines and strategic priorities, and work closely with Executive Directors to ensure the CEO’s commitments are delivered efficiently and effectively. In addition, you will lead and provide operational oversight to the team of Executive Assistants, modelling values-based communication and professional engagement at all times.
