The role assists with financial and HR related matters and ensures the smooth running of the Office. The successful applicant will be required to provide effective executive support, demonstrating strong planning and organising capability. This position requires the successful applicant to demonstrate administrative skills and high-level interpersonal skills, including the capacity to manage relationships on behalf of the ADS with a range of internal and external stakeholders as required.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an Executive Assistant to join the office of the Assistant Deputy Secretary (ADS), KEFR.
The Executive Assistant is responsible for high quality executive and administrative support to the ADS, providing support for various projects as required, and working effectively with the administration support team across the Division to ensure the smooth running of the ADS Office.

About the Division
The Kindergarten Expansion, Funding and Reform (KEFR) sub-group leads the implementation of the state-wide roll-out of the 2 Best Start, Best Life expansion reforms, which include the introduction of 15 hours per week of Three-Year-Old Kindergarten by 2029 and the transition of Four-Year-Old Kindergarten to ‘Pre-Prep', a universal 30-hour-a-week program of play-based learning available to every four-year-old child in Victoria.
KEFR works collaboratively across DE and with the sector to undertake place-based service delivery and monitoring, support the ongoing supply of early childhood teachers and educators and deliver infrastructure projects to ensure the success of these reforms.
